Happy New Year! Wishin’ everyone a safe and happy 2018. I started my year out in one of my favorite cities, New Orleans, and left with so much inspiration. From the food, the art, good company and MUSIC! It was definitely the coldest trip I’ve ever had to NOLA, but not much can keep me inside. We had an amazing dinner at Doris Metropolitan on Saturday, December 30th. The food was divine and service was top notch. The beef carpaccio was UH-mazing and had “balsamic pearls” on it. We had New Years Eve dinner at Domenica inside The Roosevelt Hotel. The Christmas lights & decorations are a sight to behold. One of the prettiest displays I have ever seen. Now onto my music fix: I was fortunate enough to see The Revivalists to ring in the new year. It was magical! If you haven’t seen them yet, do yourself a favor and see them the first chance you get. New Years Day was great… We had a nice New Years lunch at Katie’s, my beloved Gamecocks won the Outback Bowl & spent the day with dear friends.
